Does Acai Berry Help You Lose Weight and Feel Great

You have heard of acai berries. They have been featured on talk shows and news programs. There are ads on TV, in magazines, and on the internet. They are featured in diet books and discussed on prominent websites. With all the information out there, it is hard to know what is fact and what is fiction.

So, does acai berry help you lose weight? The answer is definitely maybe. I know that isn’t real helpful, but stick with me for a minute and I will give you some good information. We need to talk about two different types of acai berry supplements. You have pure acai berries and acai berry related weight loss supplements.

We will start with the acai berry and its health properties. This berry is full of antioxidants and there is a lot of research that shows that antioxidants are beneficial. The extra antioxidants may help you feel better which leads to you being more active thus burning more calories leading to weight loss. There are also omega fatty acids and dietary fiber in these berries which can also lead to better health and weight loss. These health benefits should make you feel better and help you lose weight, but there are no guarantees.

What most people refer to when talking about acai berries and weight loss is the popular acai berry weight loss supplements on the market. These supplements have some of the benefits of acai berries listed above as well as other weight loss ingredients. Some include hoodia which is an appetite suppressant. Others include green tea which can be a metabolism booster. Some include both, neither, or other ingredients that may help you lose weight. Some people experience great results, some people don’t. As above, there just aren’t any guarantees and you are going to have to try it for yourself to see if it works. In fact, you may have to try more than one before finding the right supplement.

So does acai berry help you lose weight or not? You will probably lose weight if you live a healthy lifestyle like doing light exercise and eat a sensible diet while taking acai berry supplements. If you just take the supplement and keep eating junk food and avoiding exercise, you probably won’t. As I said before, the answer is definitely maybe.
